There are a whole bunch of mushrooms in my front yard, almost in a fairy ring. They are so cool and I had fun photographing them this afternoon:

I decided to go see a movie, and I went and saw The Town and it was pretty good. Kudos to Ben Affleck for both his directing skills, and weirdly enough, being really fucking sexy to boot. And I don't usually think he's very attractive, but in this movie I wanted to jump his bones through the entire flick.

And Jon Hamm, sexy mofo to the extreme. I loved seeing Don Draper all scruffy and tough guy. It was awesome.

I recommend it. Thumbs up!

Now if I could only train him to do it.

Was an amazing movie. I loved it so much. Everyone in it was so good, and the movie was directed so intimately - so nakedly - that it just sucked you in for every minute. I highly recommend it to everyone. Oscar material for sure.

I was driving home and about 7 miles up ahead on the curve I see smoke. I hope it isn't the beginnings of a wildfire.

I don't think I've been to a county fair in at least 2 decades. But Mom, Dad and I are going to the Santa Barbara County Fair in Santa Maria on Saturday to see The Beach Boys! It will be an interesting experience to say the least. I'll bring my camera and take all sorts of weird pictures. I'm looking forward to this I want to eat deep fried things that shouldn't be deep fried. And see cows and shit.

Isn't he/she beautiful? Too bad it was in a dark hallway so the picture doesn't have good light. Thankfully the moth didn't mind my flash.

This song came on my iPod this morning on my way to work, and here it is, 25 years later, and the song is still fresh and relevant. That's hard to find.
