I'm watching a bunch of episodes of "Ancient Aliens" from the History channel about evidence that aliens visited us a long time ago and there are stories in the bible, the Bhagavad Gita and other ancient texts and art that shows aliens, up to and including ancient nuclear battles. So, It got me wondering how you hyenas think.

I'm agnostic as regards extraterrestrial life, whether intelligent (for varying values of intelligence) or not, or even recognizable as life to us. The 'verse is simply too huge and varied and flat-out weird for us to state firmly that this Pale Blue Dot is the only abode of life, but there's no hard evidence to the contrary.

That said, I'd love for it to be true, because I'm nerdy like that.

I know, right? All Hitler, all the time. Although it's all Hitler reruns, here lately...

My big gripe right now is the Weather Channel -- I've taken to calling them "The Commercial Channel, brought to you by occasional weather." Used to be you could actually go there on the :08's and get local weather within a few seconds, now you go there and get commercials and stupid shows about PAST weather! Fuck that noise, I want some current weather, especially when there might be, oh, I don't know, a fuckin' TORNADO heading this way...
