We made donuts!
Oct. 24th, 2010 07:37 pmDad bought some Ronco product thing that you pour batter into and it makes donut rings with the batter, so we got out the Fry Daddy and made donuts! They were very tasty.
Going to the fair!
Jul. 15th, 2010 10:04 amI don't think I've been to a county fair in at least 2 decades. But Mom, Dad and I are going to the Santa Barbara County Fair in Santa Maria on Saturday to see The Beach Boys! It will be an interesting experience to say the least. I'll bring my camera and take all sorts of weird pictures. I'm looking forward to this I want to eat deep fried things that shouldn't be deep fried. And see cows and shit.
Dad called me last night and wanted to know if I'd go see The A-Team with him and Mom today. I went and it was a really fucking fun movie! It was funny, and if you're an action fan, the action was great. It was silly, yes, but a lot of fun. Very much like a caper movie. Two thumbs up!
Zoe & Lily
May. 2nd, 2010 08:25 pmSo Zoe has decided she likes the house, and especially loves looking out the screen door at the birds. She has lived in a caged kennel type shelter for the last year, so I'm sure she's glad to have freedom and interesting things to look at.

Lily hisses and growls whenever Zoe comes near, but as the day wore on she did that less and less. Zoe is so mellow and submissive that I think Lily will like her soon enough. And Lily gets to go outside and Zoe does not, so Lily can come outside and be in her element and hang out with us while we sat on the patio and had a fire. It's all good. I think they'll be best friends in no time.

Meet the newest member of our family!
Apr. 30th, 2010 07:38 pmMom and Dad adopted Zoe today, because Lily has been clingy and obnoxious and they wanted to get another cat. Isn't she the cutest little butterball? She's about 2 years old and so sweet and calm.
I thought after the trauma of this morning's fire, I should post some happier pics. I spent the day at Mom & Dad's watching football, eating good food and hanging out with family. It was nice.

You know, I saw fire images on TV several times today and each time they gave me a shudder and my heart would race. I'm really sick of fires. It was so fucking scary this morning being woken up with the noise and peeping through my blinds and seeing a wall of fire right outside the window. I really need to go away from this obnoxious and really dangerous arsonist. Quit picking on our alley!

Sherlock Holmes and new friends...

We had about 30 minutes to kill before we had to be at the movie theater, so we drove around Buellton for a bit and came upon some new friends:
