On
ohnotheydidnt they posted Lindsay's address at the jail, so I decided for some reason yesterday to write her a letter. It basically said good luck and that she has talent (she actually does) and that I hope she finds the right thing to help her make her life better.
Is that weird? Now that I think about it I'm kind of embarrassed.
I did it on a whim.
Well, I hope she enjoys the good wishes and it helps her pass the time on her 14 days in jail.

Lame? Annoying? Not fun? Sure. Traumatizing? County Jail? Meh. I don't really see it as "traumatizing" as compared to her crimes. Drunk driving? Running people over? Yeah, now that's traumatizing. But hey, I don't have sympathy for people who drink and drive. Being HIT by a drunk driver is far more traumatizing than a repeat drunk driver spending a few weeks in county jail, away from general population.
Maybe she'll learn some humility.
