Last Meal...

If any of you watch Top Chef tonight, the challenge was to cook the "last meal" of a famous chef. It was fascinating seeing what these 5 well known chefs wanted for their last meal.

So it got me thinking; what would I want for my last meal?

I thought about it for about 20 minutes and came up with this:

Knackwurst from Schreiner's Deli in Montrose, CA, baked in the oven on a bed of homemade sauerkraut. Served along with that would be my perfect whipped potatoes.

I'd have a Diet Coke. I know...a Diet Coke. I truly love the flavor of Diet Coke.

Dessert I would have a blood orange tart with a crust made with lard, and a Meyer lemon panacotta.

At the end, I would have a nice sized glass of Balvenie Doublewood single malt scotch.

Pad thai, home made mac & cheese, a loaf of crusty sourdough with scads of butter, and for dessert chocolate brownies. Wassh it all down with strawberry Fanta!

lobster....then more lobster...then..another lobster...with twice baked potatoes...
perhaps some more lobster....lobster bisque?
something chocolate and gooey...
followed by a lobster.

or steak.
