Last Meal...

palsgraf_polkaIf any of you watch Top Chef tonight, the challenge was to cook the "last meal" of a famous chef. It was fascinating seeing what these 5 well known chefs wanted for their last meal.
So it got me thinking; what would I want for my last meal?
I thought about it for about 20 minutes and came up with this:
Knackwurst from Schreiner's Deli in Montrose, CA, baked in the oven on a bed of homemade sauerkraut. Served along with that would be my perfect whipped potatoes.
I'd have a Diet Coke. I know...a Diet Coke. I truly love the flavor of Diet Coke.
Dessert I would have a blood orange tart with a crust made with lard, and a Meyer lemon panacotta.
At the end, I would have a nice sized glass of Balvenie Doublewood single malt scotch.
