Honestly, I'm having a real hard time thinking of any candidates that don't make me shudder. I think I could live with Romney or Obama, maybe. But none of the rest, for sure.

I still don't understand why there hasn't been an armed revolt over non-paper-based voting machines down there yet. Shit, municipal elections here have the perfect system: You fill out a paper ballot that's basically a ScanTron (or whatever) form. The ballot boxes have a slot in the front near the top. A scanner sits in front of the ballot box. You put your paper on the scanner, and it goes "zoop!" right into the slot. You have nearly-instantaneous vote counts, along with a paper backup for recounts.
