You forgot the attempt on Reagan... and a couple of attempts on Ford. We haven't been very good at the whole sudden removal of the Chief Exec for quite a while now...

Personally, I think there's enough hue and cry over this ill-advised action that both Shrub and his buddy Dickhead might find themselves in hot water...

There were additional assassination attempts on: FDR (Wop anarchist Guieseppe Zangara, who was foiled by Chicago Mayor Anton Cermak deliberately taking the bullets; Roosevelt picked Cermak up from his seated position and hauled him into Convertible One but he couldn't be saved); Truman (Puerto Rican nationalists); Ford (Squeaky Fromme and Sara Jane Moore); and Reagan (I'm sure even a Canadian has heard of John Hinkley).

Let Bush pardon Libby, it only make him look guilty(er). Too
bad Scooter's asshole will remain unplumbed, but that's a minor disappointment.
