First Class!
Sep. 22nd, 2007 01:46 pmI just got home from my first paralegal class - Fundamentals of Paralegal Studies. It was fascinating. The teacher has been a paralegal for 20 years and has worked in all sorts of different branches of law: family law, criminal law, litigation, contracts and now works in probate/estate/elder abuse law. She talked about so many interesting facets of the job, and it all sounds like I'm really going in the right direction.
And there was this weird thing - this guy who looks like a spitting image of Chris Klein came and sat next to me and I swear to glub, he was flirting with me! It was quite bizarre. I mean - he started right off the bat...so he must be a serious chubby chaser, because he was going on looks alone. I could be imagining it, but I don't think so. But I am nuts, so I could be imagining it. Who knows. It was just strange. Caught me quite off guard.
Anyway, all in all, it's going to be so much fun. I'm really looking forward to the next 18 months. Now I'm off to study - I actually have to keep a log all quarter of every single thing I do in regards to my three classes, because I have to keep track of my billable hours; it's an assignment I have to turn in on the day of the final exam. Whack!
