That wasn't the issue. The primary hard drive died when I went to reformat it. I think the virus removal overtaxed it and pushed it to its death. So I took that drive out and made the secondary HD the primary and installed Ubuntu/Linux on it and it works great, but I don't like Linux.
If you can figure out how to get Windows back on it, more power to you.
The virus that hit me gets past all/nearly all antivirus programs - it didn't matter what I had.
Tina sent me Norton 360 for my new machine. :)
If you want it, I'll find out how much it costs to ship it.
