Unsecured WiFi!

palsgraf_polkaI'm sitting here in my new apartment, lamenting the fact that I have no DSL until Wednesday and no channel on the TV but CBS until the dish guy comes on Saturday. Then an idea hit me - I have my parents' laptop for when I go back to school in a few weeks, and it has a wireless network card. I thought to myself, "Let's just spark it up and see what happens." And wouldn't you know it, but there's an unsecured network in my neighborhood! So I have slow internet, but it's still internet. I am so happy. I'll only log in here. No e-mail or banking. If they want to read my blog, so be it.
I'm all moved in, but I have to unpack everything still. But the cats are here now, away from my mother's two harpies...they are de-stressing. But I get to sleep in my own bed tonight. Blissful sleep. I am so tired. But happy for it to almost be done.
