I know - you should get a new one. I wasn't going to get a new one when Vincent died but then I found Joe. And horrible breath aside, I love him dearly.

I keep planning to get a new one, but I haven't yet because I've never had to GET a cat--for as long as I've lived, cats have just shown up when there's a vacancy. I keep waiting for my next cat to show up.

This is how I frequently find the boys when I come home, although they're curled up together. Once Sid and Sylvia had the run of the house, I would also find them on opposite ends of the couch, mirroring one another in Joe's first pose. They sometimes unnerved me with their synchronization and symmetry.

ObStupidPetBehavior: Sophie's single-minded obsessiveness for beer and wine has become a major impediment to a quiet evening together. I fear we are going to have to send her to rehab before getting the next pup because it will certainly pick up every one of her bad habits.
