Does really well in low light. It has a flash (yay flash!) but even without it, look at how much better it does than my old one in low light!

Laugh of the day
I went to get a prescription filled today and I had to wait 20 minutes, so I grabbed a burrito (I was splurging on something fatty) at a place a few doors down, where they obviously have fine dinning.
Weather WTF
This was taken at 9:47 p.m. and I was not inland, but 200 feet from the Pacific Ocean. WTF?
Joe is sleeping off the trauma.
Sorry about the crappy phone camera quality. He was so cute so I had to be really quiet and the phone is silent whereas the good camera makes clicks and whirs.
Protestors
On the corner of Ocean and H in Lompoc just now as I was driving home. The woman's sign says "Lois Capps [ed's note: one of our congresspeople] I DON'T WANT YOUR WELFARE HEALTH CARE" And the guy is holding a "Don't Tread On Me" flag, natch. The guy whose back is turned to the camera and a cute bearded alternative type guy behind the guy with the flag were arguing with them about health care. I caught the bearded guy saying, "Don't you get it??? Everyone deserves health care!" and then the light changed.
Assholes. I'm amazed they didn't have Nazi signs and signs about the death panels. Maybe those people were getting coffee. If I didn't have to drive on, I was going to yell at Mr. Don't Tread On Me and ask him if he lost his job if he would be changing his tune. Alas, the light changed.

My parents have this beautiful water lily in their fish pond. If you look closely on the left you can see fish. :)
Fiesta!
It's the annual Fiesta here in Santa Barbara, and one of the bosses here gave everyone $10 to go there and buy lunch to stimulate the economy. I'm on phone duty today so my co-worker took my $10 and bought me food and brought it back from one of the food stands.
