Isn't he/she beautiful? Too bad it was in a dark hallway so the picture doesn't have good light. Thankfully the moth didn't mind my flash.

That's probably a she; the male moths have the feathery antennae, the better to smell the female's pheromones, my dear.

Was it really that lovely moss green color?

No, it was more of a slate gray color. The green popped out with the flash, so maybe there are green undertones on the color.

I wonder how many dull, bland-looking moths have hidden colors like this that only show up to other moths.
