I wouldn't ban any books from anywhere. I read some weird shit when I was a teenager (hahaha maybe that's what happened) and I'm glad I got the chance to learn about all sorts of concepts (like lesbianism, drugs, slavery, poverty to name a few) and figure out what they all meant. People today are ignorant fools who don't read. It's horrible.

Around here, I think all books should be banned from high schools, except for right-wing religious propaganda.

I say this because banning a book around here is the quickest way to get EVERY kid wanting to read it.

I wouldn't ban any books, precisely because of what Waystar said. Even when I was high school, back in the days when books were chiseled on stone tablets, we could easily find copies of prohibited material. Nowadays with the internet handy, it's even easier. Banning books is an absolutely excellent way to draw a kid's attention to the stuff you don't want him to read.
