Only 6 cats? That's not crazy, that's just A Sufficiency of Cats. They should include at least 8 cats. Now THAT'S crazy.

I agree. At the height of my crazy cat ladyhood I had 11 of them, even if it was only for a short time.

My grandparents at one time had 66 cats.

You read that right. Sixty-six. They were all outdoor cats, spawned from cats dumped in the country. They lived on a farm, so there was room, but damn. It was astounding to watch them come pouring out from everywhere all over the place when it was feeding time.
