Fortune cookie says...

I got Chinese food delivery last night, and I had leftovers for breakfast this morning. My fortune this morning says:

It is better to have beans and bacon in peace than cakes and ale in fear.

I don't know about you all, but is there something bad about beans and bacon? Because I'm not seeing it.

Yeah, I'd say compromise and have bacon and ale with mild disquietude.

I love beans. If I were a believer, I would say they were god's food.

they certainly are the type of food a poor, peaceful carpenter would eat. cheap, plentiful, good for you. I eat them often, but i would say i "love" them.

Yes, I'll have the angel food cake with coconut lemon frosting and a Killian's Irish Red. Please don't hurt me.

Beans and bacon are relatively cheap food compared to cake and alcohol. So eating humbly in peace is better than eating richly in fear.

Or poor folks with no entertainment are more content than rich people having a good time.

Or maybe all that bean and bacon makes you fart so much that no one comes around, so you're not only peaceful, there's no one around to be afraid of.
