Reason #438 why I'm glad I'm moving...

These last two hours the neighbors have been gracing me with the sounds of really bad singers singing electronically amplified karaoke - in Spanish. The sounds reverberate throughout the streets and make me feel like getting my gun and shooting the next person who sings.

As Aem says, polka is part of Mexican culture — lots of Germans emigrated to the Texas border region in the 19th century (think about place names like Luckenbach) and brought accordions with them.

So what to play at top volume instead? Hm, how about bagpipes? Or Anal Cunt? Or the theme song to Barney on continuous loop?
