I want these...

Really bad. Not for a really good single malt, but I think it would be good with bourbon, which I like cold.

They're made of soapstone, so I wonder if they would be alright in carbonated drinks? They would be cool in club soda.

I'm a fucking dork.

So my final exam is tomorrow. What am I doing tonight? Writing a 7 page research paper on adoption and foster care issues in California and a research paper on whether or not sellers have a duty to disclose that a GHOST resides on the real property they are selling (approx 4 pages).

I finished the big paper, and now I'm taking a 5 minute break from writing the smaller one on the ghost.

FUCKING A I should be a better student. Seriously.

At least I have Cuban music. I love Cuban music.

I need scotch. But if I start drinking I won't finish my paper.

Bah.

Scotch and Puccini

I was working on my paper that's due Monday for legal writing, but I made the mistake of pouring a glass of scotch to mellow out and then I made the bigger mistake of putting in Madama Butterfly on WinAmp and now I'm just sucked in and crying. He says he loves her now, but he's just going to run off back to America and hook up with that white bitch and take Butterfly's son away. But the love Butterfly and the American have in the beginning is so beautiful.

God I love Puccini.

ETA: The rain has started pouring down again. Just adds to the atmosphere.

Mmmmm.....

I just had a dinner of 2 different kinds of brie (leftover from the new year's eve dinner party I went to), crusty french bread, and Laphroaig scotch. Can't get much better than that.
