As much as I don't want to bite the hand that feeds me, there are days when I agree.

There are other days, however, especially when I'm crunching numbers regarding contracts with doctors, that I want to shift the title to the AMA and its members. Far too often, when we insurance droids tell them "Hey, treatment A works better than treatment B on these 100,000 patients we studies, and it's cheaper, too!", the doctors snark back "Fuck that shit, we're the experts, we're going to keep giving our patients Treatment B because they keep demanding it/we know better 'cause we're Gods/we don't want to get our asses sued for malpractice."

But yeah. I get it.
