I have a wall heater (gas) in the living room but the heat doesn't reach the bedroom at all. I have vaulted ceilings with no insulation. I really don't mind it that much. I just layer my clothing and it's fine. It's really only bad first thing in the morning when I get out of my warm blankets I've been in all night. It's like this many days in Dec, Jan & Feb. I'm really used to it. Reminds me of living in London; I get all nostalgic. :)
