Absinthe

I want to try Absinthe. It's legal in the US now, and where I don't think it's as potent as the European stuff, I want to try it. Does anyone have any recommendations of a really good bottle I can get here? There's a liquor store in Santa Barbara that has about 20 different brands.

I really think the Absinthe hallucinogen thing is a myth.

Now laudanum I've had...and I loved it.

I know that it won't have the historic or romantic effect, but I want to try it in general. I just thought someone would know of a good brand...my local liquor store has so many.

And I would love laudanum.

Wormwood is sorta like Salvia. Works on some people, not on others.

Absinthe didn't make me see anything weird. Friend smuggled some back from Europe a while back and we did the whole sugar cube routine and such.

I just got really really drunk.
