ETA 6:25pm: Home now, 53 miles away from the fire. Let's see if my office is still there tomorrow (in a sick sort of way I hope it burns - is that bad karma?).

Yes. Mandatory evacuations up around the botanic gardens, and pretty much all of San Roque Canyon and Mission Canyon.

No joke. The southern edge of the evac area is about 2 blocks from my mother's house. Keep in mind that the Tea Fire JUST burned her neighborhood, up to a couple of houses from her. She is out of town so G and I went to get her cats etc before the roads closed.

I really hope the winds shift or die down soon.

Nothing where my office is AFAIK. I'm home now, 53 miles away. I felt bad because one of my mother's paintings is in my office so I hope it doesn't burn.

Yeah, I just checked. It's still going but still in that back canyon. I have to go back to work today. :(
